Founding the firm
Climentum was co-founded by Morten, Stefan, Dörte with a focus on climate hard tech and sustainable re-industrialization.
2021
Establishing presence
We opened offices in Copenhagen, Berlin, and Stockholm, and began the thesis development, deal sourcing and fundraising for Fund I.
2022
Fund I launch
Climentum launched Fund I with €60M in commitments and invested in the first companies.
2023
Sharpening focus
Sharpening the focus on European resilience with even stronger focus on un hyped sectors with strong economic fundamentals.
2024
Strengthening the Nordics
Expansion of sourcing and local presence especially to Oslo and Helsinki to cover the entire Nordic region.
2025
Growth and transition
Team expansion with Nathalie as new Principal in Stockholm. We also faced the tragic loss of our friend and General Partner, Malin.
Jennifer Dungs joined as General Partner strengthening the team further especially on industrial scaling.
2026
Fund II launch
Fund II is set to launch in 2026, enabling us to scale our climate impact and deepen our industrial focus.
